Travel Job Story: Living and Working Abroad as a US Diplomat with Justine King
My guest Justine King is a Foreign Service Officer for the US Department of State. This job allows you to live and work around the world, receiving a new post every couple of years!
Justine is a U.S. Diplomat for the US Department of State and has worked as a Diplomat for four years. She is currently stationed to Khartoum, Sudan where she serves as a political/economic officer working primarily on environment, science, technology, and health related issues at the US Embassy. She has also served and lived in Sao Paulo, Brazil and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. While in college, Justine studied abroad in Brussels, Belgium and was able to travel to France, Italy, the Netherlands, and the United Kingdom during her time in Europe. Fast forward to the height of pandemic, Justine started documenting and creating content about her travels and life overseas, as a way to encourage young people to travel and see the world.
